Significant severe thunderstorms are expected over parts of Green Country tonight and into the overnight hours.

Several eastern Oklahoma counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning or watch.

Damaging winds and hail the primary threats from this storm. A tornado threat is not exceptionally high in northeastern OK, but there remains a chance.

The system will sweep eastward early Thursday, but there may be some scattered showers or storms across extreme eastern parts of the state and western Arkansas.

Temperatures aren't expected to reach the 90s again until after the weekend.
