Man Killed In Okmulgee County Motorcycle Crash

A 50-year-old Henryetta man was killed Friday afternoon in motorcycle crash west of Okmulgee.

According to an accident report, Clyde Rhoades was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Sharp Road when he lost control in a curve and hit a large rock on the side of the road.

Rhoades, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected nine feet from the point of impact, according to the report.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The trooper's report lists Rhoades' condition at the time of the wreck as unknown and the cause of the crash as unsafe speed on a curve.
