Mazzio's Pizza Founder Ken Selby Dies

The founder of Ken's and Mazzio's Pizza has died. Ken Selby passed away Saturday.

Selby started his restaurant empire in Tulsa in 1961 when he opened Pizza Parlor on 11th Street near Harvard. A few years later, he changed the name to Ken's Pizza.

Mazzio's Corporation now has 165 restaurants in nine states.

Selby walked from Oklahoma City to Tulsa along Route 66 in 2009, when he was 73.
