Ingredients:
Field greens
Candied walnuts
Sliced almonds
Strawberries
Mango vinaigrette
Shredded Parmesan
Process:
Take the walnuts, halved, and candy them. Melt sugar till it caramelizes, remove from heat. Add nuts and mix thoroughly. Allow to cool and break apart if necessary.
While the nuts are cooling, toss field greens in a mango vinaigrette. The sweet/tangy combination sets off the whole salad. You can buy one, make your own or buy this dressing directly from Andolini's. Add the candied nuts and toss lightly to mix.
Top with sliced almonds, shredded parmesan and sliced fresh strawberries.
