Sooners Gain Commitment From Dalton Rodriguez

TULSA, Oklahoma – The commitments continue to roll in for the Sooners.

After a big verbal Friday night from East Central's Stanvon Taylor, OU received a commitment on Saturday morning from Tulsa Union lineman Dalton Rodriguez.

Rodriguez plays defensive end currently for the Redskins but projects as an offensive tackle for the Sooners eventually.

Rodriguez, at 6-6, 250 pounds, is listed as a three-star prospect by both Rivals.com and Scout.com.

He chose the Sooners over other offers such as Oklahoma State, Baylor, Texas Tech and Tulsa.

Rodriguez is the sixth commitment for the 2013 class for the Sooners, and the third from the state of Oklahoma.
