The economy has taken a toll on a lot of people, including a Broken Arrow resident.

Dressed in a suit and tie, a Broken Arrow man is hitting up a busy Tulsa intersection looking for work. But there's a twist - he's offering the person who helps him land a job a trip for two to Hawaii.

You might think the last thing that someone who's out of a job should do is offer up roundtrip tickets to Hawaii. But Chuck Low is a business man who's been smart with his savings and says it's a small price to pay.

He's not who you'd expect to find on a street corner, with a sign in hand, asking for a job.

"If you don't want to be considered a panhandler, you don't want to look like one," Low said. "I'd dress like one if I thought it'd help me get a better job."

Low lost his job with Edward Jones two weeks ago after falling short on his commission. So to help find him find a job, he promises to send the person who helps him to Hawaii.

"My thought was, if I could reward good behavior, why not?" Low said. "It speeds up the process."

Also part of the process: putting his pride to the side and hitting the pavement at some of Tulsa's busiest intersections.

"I'd rather eat than have pride," he said.

Wednesday was Low's second day on his job of finding a new job. He says the key is coming out during high traffic hours to intersections are waiting and watching.

Low is getting a lot of attention. His biggest fans are watching -- his stay-at-home wife, Kristin, and their children, Ashton and Liam.

"I'm sad that he doesn't have a job anymore," Ashton said. "But I know that he will get a job really soon because he's working really hard. I know that will pay off."

It's paid off once before. This is exactly how Low landed his first job out of college. Now, Low and his family lean on their faith that the tactic will pay off once again.

Low says he's open to anything but is looking for something in marketing or sales. And he has a resume that backs it up.
