The Tulsa Drillers open their season Thursday evening in San Antonio. Their home opener is still a week away.
The Drillers have planned a big day of activities for the April 12, 2012 game at ONEOK Field in downtown Tulsa.
The Drillers will be playing the San Antonio Missions at 7:05 p.m.
This year, the Tulsa Drillers are kicking things off with a Opening Night parade. It will begin at 6:20 p.m. and will end at ONEOK Field at 6:45 p.m.
A skydiver will deliver the opening ball to country music legend and Tulsa resident Roy Clark, who will then throw the season's ceremonial first pitch.
The First Fruits of Praise of New Creation Worship Assembly of Broken Arrow will sing the national anthem.
The Tulsa Drillers are the AA-affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. ONEOK Field is located at 2nd Street and Elgin Avenue.
