Penny Kafer taught at Glenpool Public Schools for 26 years.

The victim's family members wore ribbons with a penny on them as the verdict was read. They said in a statement, "she will live on in all of us."

Formal sentencing is set for May 30, 2012. He could face up to 25 years in prison.
