School Bus Crashes Into Car In West Tulsa

At least one person was taken to the hospital when a car ran a stop sign and crashed into a Tulsa school bus. According to eyewitnesses, there were no children on the bus.

It happened just before 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 5300 block of South 40th Avenue in West Tulsa.

Police say a woman driving a Ford Contour failed to stop at an intersection and was T-boned on the driver's side by the school bus. A child riding in the car was not injured.

The bus had just dropped off the last of its passengers. The driver of the bus was not injured.

The female driver was alert when she was transported to the hospital.
