A Tulsa favorite is making a comeback. Fire destroyed the old Knotty Pine Barbecue restaurant a year ago. Since then, fans have been clamoring for it to reopen.
The new Knotty Pine will be opening at 61st and South 33rd West Avenue, where Napoli's used to be. And even though the location will be different, you'll recognize many of the same employees, the same familiar atmosphere and of course, the same taste.
"So you'll be able to enjoy the same recipes as well as the familiar faces, so nothing's gonna change," said Robert Tucker, owner.
The new Knotty Pine will open in late April and they will also be expanding. The owner signed a lease on a location at I-244 and Utica. And he's also looking at opening up restaurants outside of Tulsa.
