Tulsa Police Think 2 Carjacking Robberies Late Wednesday Are Related

Tulsa Police are investigating three armed robberies late Wednesday night and believe two of the three are related.

Tulsa Police are investigating three armed robberies late Wednesday night and believe two of the three are related.

The first robbery happened at 9:30 p.m. in the 12900 block of East 21st Street at a car wash.

Police say two men walked up to a man washing his red Dodge Caliber and demanded the keys and his cell phone.

The car was located in the 2300 block of South 137th East Avenue. The victim was not hurt.

At around 11 p.m. Tulsa Police got a call about another carjacking in the 10900 block of East 29th Street.   Officers say the pair stole the victim's 1999 yellow Ford Mustang.

Police ended up finding that car several blocks away in the 10600 block of East 24th Street. Again, the victim was not hurt.

Both victims told Tulsa Police, the men were black males, 5'8", 140 pounds and 28-30 years of age.

A third robbery occurred at the Pick Wic Arms Apartments in the 200 of North Garnett just after 10 p.m. Tulsa Police two men robbed a man of his cash and left in a car firing shots into the air.
