Police: One Person Shot Inside Bartlesville Home

Bartlesville Police are investigating a shooting in a home in their community just before noon Friday.

Police Chief Tom Holland says officers were dispatched to the home in the 1300 block of South Johnstone.

A man was found shot once. He was transported to a Bartlesville hospital. There is no word on his condition.

Police Chief Holland says because of the location of the shooting, Bartlesville High School and Kane Elementary School were placed on lockdown over the noon hour while police investigated.

The lockdown was lifted shortly after 1 p.m.

No word on if anyone has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
