No Serious Injuries After Mounds School Bus Runs Over Boy

A six-year-old boy wasn't seriously hurt when he was run over by a school bus. It happened Tuesday after Mounds Public schools let out for the day.

The highway patrol says before the boy could get across the street, the bus started forward, pushing him about 35 feet.

He eventually lost his balance and fell under the bus. The boy was treated for a minor head injury and some scrapes.

The accident is under investigation, and the volunteer driver has been suspended.
