The opening of a new restaurant in Tulsa means more than a new dinner option, it also means new jobs.
Chuy's, an Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant, is about to open in Tulsa, bringing more than 150 full and part-time positions.
Interested candidates can visit a trailer in the restaurant's parking lot at 10808 East 71st Street to turn in resumes.
This is the first Chuy's in Oklahoma, but the restaurants are well known in Texas.
"Our food is going to be a good fit for Tulsa. We make everything from scratch and we have a value-driven menu. It's affordable," said general manager Jill Warden.
The hiring trailer will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through Saturday. Interested candidates are encouraged to bring their resume and a copy of their food handlers or Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission licenses, if certified.
