Tulsa Firm's CEO Rings Opening Bell Of NYSE Tuesday

WPX Energy's CEO Ralph Hill rang the New York Stock Exchange's opening bell Tuesday morning, January 3, 2012.

Over the weekend, shares of Williams' stock split, creating a new company called WPX Energy.

Like Williams, WPX Energy will be headquartered in Tulsa and employs 550.  Nationwide, the new company employs 1,200 people.

WPX Energy will specialize in finding, drilling and producing new supplies of oil and natural gas.
