Trial Date Set For Tulsa Woman In Death Of Priest, Seminary Student

Keianne Denis Shelton will be tried for two counts of first-degree manslaughter. Prosecutors say she was driving under the influence of alcohol when she crashed into a car, killing two men.

A Tulsa woman has been bound over for trial in the deaths of a Catholic priest and seminary student. Keianne Denis Shelton, 34, will be tried for two counts of first-degree manslaughter.

Her next court date is January 3.

Prosecutors say Shelton was driving under the influence of alcohol and going 86 in a 45 mph zone when she crashed into the victims' car. Father Jorge Alvardo and Stanley Kariuki died August 21, 2011.
