For the last 11 years, a Broken Arrow man has given the Broken Arrow Police Department bicycles to give to Broken Arrow kids this month.

The police department is working with the public school's resource officers to deliver the 14 bicycles donated by man known only as "Wolfman."

Police Captain Scott Bennett says children are selected from financially challenged families and families who had endured some form of tragedy in 2011.

This year, police officer will deliver the bicycles on Friday, December 23, 2011.

The Broken Arrow Optimist Club helps out by providing bicycle helmets to go with each bicycle. In addition, Broken Arrow Police's crime prevention unit delivers "Care Bags" for children who end up in the emergency room over the holidays.

The bags include coloring books, stuffed animals and other items.
