Partly Sunny conditions will be likely today across Northeastern OK with a slight chance of showers.  Storms will be likely across far southeaster OK.  Highs today will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s with much colder air arriving late tonight.

A storm system located across southeast Texas will spread rain and storms as far north as southeastern OK this morning.  This activity may persist occasionally throughout the day and early evening before moving away from the state.  The Tulsa metro will be on the far northern edge of the system and will more than likely remain dry for the day.  We'll continue to keep a slight chance of showers for the Tulsa metro, with a 40% chance for the Muskogee area, and a 50% chance for McAlester.  Rain will be likely across the southeastern OK portion of the Red River Valley.

Temperatures should be rather mild for the day with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s before the second surge of cold air arrives after dark tonight.  This will set the stage for a brief cool down that will last through Friday morning.

Temperatures Wednesday will start in the upper 30s and finish in the mid 50s.  Thursday morning some locations will start in the upper 20s and lower 30s before moving into the mid 50s for afternoon highs.

South winds will quickly return Friday helping to bring the temps back up and also helping to bring low level moisture back into the region before the weekend system arrives.

The GFS and EURO are now hinting on a solution to bring a cold front across the state Sunday while stalling the boundary just south Sunday evening into Monday.  Early next week this boundary may be position across the state while another strong upper level system approaches in the southern stream.  This may allow for periods of heavy rainfall, and possibly a few severe storms before the Thanksgiving holiday arrives.

The extended data will take the system east of the state Wednesday leaving Thursday and Friday of the Holiday dry.  I must caution that this solution could change, so please check back daily for forecast updates regarding next week.
