TULSA, Oklahoma -- Some Edison students are helping Turn Tulsa Pink.

About 100 kids wore special t-shirts and used their bodies to spell out the word cancer in the practice field Friday afternoon.

Tammy Pallares is the Spanish teacher. She came up with the idea two weeks ago over dinner with a friend.

But, she says students in the Spanish Club worked really hard to make all this happen in such a short time.

Pallares says it's their way of helping raise awareness about breast cancer.
