OSBI Offering Reward In Unsolved Okmulgee County Murder

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering a reward in the Okmulgee County murder of 36-year-old Chris Alan Shelton.

OKMULGEE COUNTY, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering a $10,000 reward in the Okmulgee County murder of 36-year-old Chris Alan Shelton.

Shelton's badly decomposed body was found in the Twin Hills area of northeastern Okmulgee County on April 8, 2011. Authorities said the Hitchita man died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Since investigators have no suspect and no leads at this time, they're hoping the large reward will lead them to the shooter.
