TULSA, Oklahoma -- Last Friday, the schedule was peppered with blowouts. Unbeaten teams took advantage of up-and-comers in the early part of the district schedule. This week, the titans face off with each other all over the state. Here is a look at the Top 5 matchups from around the Tulsa area:

5. Sapulpa Chieftains 3-2 (0-2) at Broken Arrow Tigers 4-1 (2-0)

At first glance, this may not seem like it's worthy of a Top-5 ranking with games like Beggs-Victory and Owasso-Jenks on the schedule as well. But, the Chieftains' offense is for real and the Tigers struggled last week in a district matchup with 1-4 Muskogee. BA needed overtime to put away the Roughers, 33-26, while Sapulpa lost a heartbreaker at home to Southmoore, 52-49. If the Chieftains can put up the kind of numbers they did against the SaberCats last weekend, they might be able to mix things up in 6A District 3.

4. Kiefer Trojans 4-1 (4-0) at Depew Hornets 4-1 (4-0)

The Hornets scored 426 points last season and are on pace to better that mark by more than 100 points this year. Depew's only loss came to Weleetka by two points in the opener. The veteran group hosts a Trojans squad that finished 11-2 in Class B last season. The Trojans have shut out three teams this year, including a 33-0 win over Oaks Mission last Friday.

3. Central Braves 5-0 (2-0) at East Central Cardinals 5-0 (2-0)

Not many people expected BOTH of these teams to be undefeated at this point in the season. Both have taken different routes to this key District 4 matchup. The Cardinals are the favorites in 5A but were nearly upset last week by Coweta. They have played three games decided by ten points or less. The Braves have beaten up on weaker competition. They average 36 points a game but have taken down teams with a combined record of 7-18. This will be Centrals' first real test. The Cardinals return home for the first time in a month.

2. Vian Wolverines 5-0 (2-0) at Lincoln Christian Bulldogs 5-0 (2-0)

These two teams are mirror images of each other. Vian won last week 55-0. Lincoln won last week 50-0. They both have two shutouts. They both can score in bunches. The difference is Vian hasn't played a road game yet this season. The Wolverines have outscored their opponents 270-34 this year, but the Bulldogs have allowed just 20 points total this year in two games at Dennis Byrd Stadium. It's not a district matchup, but the winner establishes itself as a top threat to win the 2A title.

1. Berry hill Chiefs 5-0 (1-0) at Cascia Hall Commandos 5-0 (1-0)

This game has become an annual battle for bragging rights and 3A supremacy. The Chiefs and Commandos met for the 3A gold ball back in 2009. Cascia Hall has dominated the series recently. Joe Medina's team is 57-2 in the past five seasons.

Cascia Hall has the "Blue Swarm" defense, but the Chiefs have been great on that side of the ball as well this year. Berryhill has given up a touchdown or less in three of its five games and is only allowing 13 points per game. That unit will have to come up big because the Commandos' LOWEST scoring game of the year was last week when they only hung 49 on Locust Grove. The kicker --- they scored all 49 points in the first half. Additionally, head coach Joe Medina is going for win No. 200 Thursday.

JUST MISSED THE CUT:

Beggs Demons 4-1 (2-0) at Victory Christian Conquerors 3-2 (1-1)

Owasso Rams 3-2 (2-0) at Union Redskins 5-0 (2-0)

Muskogee Roughers 1-4 (1-1) at Jenks Trojans 4-1 (2-0)

Catoosa Indians 5-0 (2-0) at Oologah Mustangs 2-3 (1-1)

Pryor Tigers 4-1 (2-0) at Claremore Zebras 2-3 (1-1)
