There's hardly any other way to put it. With the clear skies, light winds, low dewpoint readings, and mild temperatures, our weather is just down-right gorgeous! Hopefully you had a chance to enjoy it over the weekend, if not today. I was out in Oklahoma City enjoying some tennis, and I couldn't have asked for better conditions. The way I see it, we deserve every bit of it! Check out those great temperatures to the right. Amazingly enough, this ideal weather will continue this week.
A cut-off low continues to spin across the Midwest. We are just far enough out of its reach to leave us with consistently nice weather. That low will push away and warmer conditions will filter into our region by midweek as an upper-level ridge builds overhead. By Wednesday, our temperatures may be pushing 90°. Fortunately, a refreshing shot of cool air arrives on Thursday, keeping our temperatures in check… just in time for the start of the Tulsa State Fair! It looks like nice, dry weather will persist into early next week. Once again, enjoy!
