Meteorologist Sponsors Fishing Trip For Reading Winners

TULSA, Oklahoma -- News On 6 Meteorologist Dick Faurot took the winners of the Tulsa Public Library's summer reading contest on a fishing trip to Five Oaks Saturday.

Approximately 45,000 children signed up for the reading program and, over the course of the summer, they read almost 400,000 books, a record for the Tulsa program.

Those who participated in the program were eligible for prizes, one of which was the fishing excursion with Faurot.
