Tulsa-Based MacroSolve Files Suit Against Seven Companies

A Tulsa company has filed a lawsuit against AT&T, Citigroup, Dell and Groupon for infringing on one its patents.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa company has filed a lawsuit against AT&T, Citigroup, Dell and Groupon for infringing on one its patents.

MacroSolve, Inc. said in a news release, the patent they received in 2010, addresses mobile information collection systems across all wireless networks, smartphones and tablets.

"We are prepared to vigorously defend our intellectual property. These global business enterprises have received notice of our legal action. We look forward to productive discussions with these parties leading to mutually beneficial outcomes that continue to deliver the benefits of mobility to their customers," said MacroSolve Vice Chairman, Jim McGill.

MacroSolve says in a news release, it is a leading provider of mobile technologies, apps and solutions for business.
