TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa man was airlifted to a Denver hospital after he fell in Rocky Mountain National Park Thursday, according to the Denver Post.

The 65-year-old man, who suffers from a medical condition, collapsed onto some rocks and then into a lake, the paper reported.

Family members pulled him from the water and called for help on a cell phone around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Park officials carried the man down from the trail two miles where he was airlifted to Swedish Medical Center in Denver.

His condition is not known.
