TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa man was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of robbery with a dangerous weapon, four counts of kidnapping and three counts of hit-and-run Wednesday afternoon.

Tulsa Police say officers were sent to a crash in the 4700 block of South Lewis.

Officers determined David Boleman, 56, was driving south on Lewis and rear-ended a car.  They say that caused a chain reaction crash involving three other cars.

Police say Boleman then drove off, abandoning his car near East 47th Place and Birmingham.

Tulsa Police say Boleman then forced his way into a home in the 2700 block of East 49th Street, holding the family hostage with a knife and cutting the phone lines.

He then took a truck in the driveway of the home and drove off, according to police.

Police say Boleman abandoned the truck a few blocks away then attempted to rob a man working outside a home in the 4600 block of South Columbia Place.

Police arrested him a short time later in the 4600 block of South Delaware.

Police say none of the victims in Boleman's crime spree was injured.
