BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- The Broken Arrow 911 emergency system is back in service, Broken Arrow police announced Monday at about 11 a.m.

Technicians located and repaired the problems ancillary line equipment, according to spokesperson Stephen Bradley.

The emergency service line went down early Monday, and residents were given an alternate number to call.

Citizens can again call 911 - but only in case of an emergency.

The department's non-emergency number is 918-259-8400.
