TULSA, Oklahoma -- Hillcrest HealthCare Systems has purchased both SouthCrest Hospital in Tulsa and Claremore Regional Hospital, the company announced Thursday.
The price and terms of the agreement were not released.

"This is a milestone day for Hillcrest, its patients and residents of south Tulsa and Rogers County," said Kevin J. Gross, CEO of HHS.
"We can now provide more access to quality health care for our patients, offer a network of 230 exceptional physicians and begin to invest and expand the capabilities at both SouthCrest and Claremore Regional."
The construction of two new heart catheterization labs has already begun, at a cost of $3.2 mill, the release states. More heart health services will be introduced at Claremore Regional later this month.
The Claremore Hospital will also received an $800,000 face lift with renovations to walls, floors and ceilings.
