TULSA, Oklahoma -- Police say the District Attorney will decide whether to file charges against a man who officers say shot his sister's estranged husband while the husband was assaulting her.
The incident happened at about 5 p.m. on August 24, 2011, in the 1500 block of East 51st Place North.
Police say officers responding to a shooting call discovered that Aaron Million, 27, had been shot several times. They say the man who shot him, Raymond Radabaugh, 23, was also at the scene.
According to police, Million went to the residence, which is the home of his mother-in-law, to talk to his wife.
Officers say Million's mother-in-law answered the door, and he demanded to see his wife. When she refused to let him in, he forced his way inside and began assaulting his wife, according to police.
Police say the wife's brother, Radabaugh, came to her defense, firing three shots at Million.
Paramedics took Million to St. John Hospital, but police say his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
Officers took Radabaugh to the Detective Division where he was interviewed and released.
Detectives will forward their report to the District Attorney, who will decide what, if any, charges Radabaugh will face.
