Funeral For Porter Soldier Killed In Afghanistan Is Saturday

PORTER, Oklahoma -- Services for Specialist Joshua Seals, 21, of Porter, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Porter Consolidated Schools Multi-Purpose Facility under the direction of Mallett Funeral Home, Wagoner.

Seals served in the1st Battalion, 279th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Oklahoma National Guard, stationed in Paktika Province, Afghanistan.

The Department of Defense says Seals died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from non-combat related injuries.
