Guthrie's Blake Belcher Commits To Tulsa

GUTHRIE, Oklahoma – The Tulsa football team received its 16th commitment of the 2012 class Friday with Guthrie offensive lineman Blake Belcher.

Rivals.com rated Belcher a three-star prospect and the No. 6 prospect at any position in Oklahoma. He also held offers from Stanford, Oregon State, Kansas, Iowa State and Arizona.

The 6-foot-6-inch, 271-pound lineman is the highest rated prospect in TU's recruiting class, which includes eight other three-star recruits. The last two recruits the Golden Hurricane received both were offensive linemen, Belcher and Chris Wallace of Sperry.
