Police Look For Two Men Connected To Tulsa Park Shooting Wednesday

Police said the victim, 25-year-old Antonio Zuniga was shot at a park near Kendall Whittier Elementary School at 5th and Atlanta about 8:30 p.m.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are looking for two suspects accused of shooting a man at a Tulsa park Wednesday night.

Police said the victim, 25-year-old Antonio Zuniga was shot at a park near Kendall Whittier Elementary School at 5th and Atlanta about 8:30 p.m. 

When officers arrived, Zuniga who suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, had left the scene and gone to his residence nearby.  Zuniga was transported to the hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

"It could possibly be related to another disturbance that occurred earlier, not between the victim and the suspects, but between the suspects and possibly some other people," Sergeant Mark Wollmershauser said.

Tulsa Police interviewed Zuniga and spoke with other witnesses in the area.

Officers are looking for two black males, in their late teens to early 20s.  Police said they were last seen running westbound from the scene.
