Tulsa Highway Head-On Crash Sends One To Hospital

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A driver is rushed to a Tulsa hospital after crashing head on with a semi early Wednesday morning.

Tulsa Police say the crash happened just after 1 a.m. on state Highway 11 near Harvard.

Police say the driver was going the wrong way down the highway when it slammed into a Walmart semi truck.

Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to rescue the driver. There is no word on his condition.

The driver of the Walmart semi was not hurt.
