Tulsa Receives First 2012 Basketball Commit

TULSA, Oklahoma – Tulsa coach Doug Wojcik picked up a commitment from Lawton power forward D'Andre Wright on Monday.

Wright, who is set to graduate in 2012, is a 6-foot-9, 215-pound power forward who received a number of offers.

He chose Tulsa over offers such as Creighton, SMU, TCU and Wichita State.

Wright didn't play last season at Lawton because of a broken leg.

He is the first 2012 commitment for the University of Tulsa.
