TULSA, Oklahoma -- With kids getting ready to head back to school, some families are scrambling to get clothing that meets the new uniform requirements. People lined up around the block in the heat for the third annual Riley's Closet on Cherry Street giveaway on Saturday.
Volunteers were giving away free uniforms to kids in need. The school district says it will also have some free uniforms available through school counselors.
You can help Tulsa families by contributing to the school's uniform clothing drive that continues through September 30. Purchase white tops and khaki bottoms in any size to help students dress for success this fall.
The items can be purchased at any retail and discount locations and taken to the Oklahoma National Bank and Trust, Fox Cleaners or Salvation Army metro locations listed below.
