TULSA, Oklahoma -- In the penultimate day of the All-State games, small schools and big schools squared off on the hardwood of the Maybe Center Thursday.

In the early game, the West held off the East 86-81, despite the heroics of Talihina's Taggart Lockhart, who scored a game-high 24 points in the loss.

The late game featured the big schools and it was an offensive show from the start. Sixteen of the 19 players scored in the opening quarter, and it ended with the East leading 23-21.

The West battled back in the second quarter and El Reno's Devante Moore hit a jumper to end the first half to put the West up 41-35 heading into the locker room. From the East, Claremore's Dakota Caudill led all scorers with 10.

That lead would hold and the West went into the fourth quarter up five points, but with just two minutes to play the East strung together a 6-0 run to cut the gap to two points. Midwest City's Cortez Colbert scored the game's last three points to secure the 75-72 win for the West.
