Guthrie Tops Northwest Classen to Advance in Regionals

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Guthrie Lady Jays topped Northwest Classen 46-31 to advance to the Regional Championship to take on No. 1 Bishop McGuinness.

The two squads duked it out early on but Guthrie pulled away in the second half. Michaela Murillo led the Lady Jays in scoring with eight points.

Guthrie is already assured a spot in the area tournament with the win, but could claim a regional title Friday against the Irish.
