The Lady Jags rolled and it took overtime to decide the winner of the boys game.

MOORE, Okla. – The Westmoore Jaguars hosted the season’s second round of ‘Moore War’ action against the Moore Lions.
Last time the two teams met the Jags rolled the Lions 59-25 while the boys matchup went to the wire as Moore squeaked out a 42-39 win.
This time around in action from the girls game, Westmoore scored early and often.
Junior Brittany Alavinejad had a great performance swiping steals and taking it to the hoop gaining multiple and one opportunities for Westmoore.
The Lady Jaguars took this game by a final of 42-24.
Westmoore will play its first regional game Thursday at 6:30 against Yukon (8-13) in Midwest City while Moore (2-21) will face Norman (16-7) at 8 p.m. Thursday.
The boys matchup has been a battle this season between these two schools. Last game the winner was decided by a mere three points and this game would take overtime to crown a winner.
It all came down to the final seconds in overtime when Moore launched a three pointer and was fouled. The Lions converted the four point play to give them a one point, 63-62 advantage over Westmoore.
The loss is the third straight for Westmoore who falls to 7-13 on the season.
The Jags enter regional play Friday at Mustang (20-3) at 8 p.m. while the same night Moore (9-12) will face its first regional opponent in the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves (16-4) in Edmond.
