TULSA, Oklahoma – It’s back-to-back wins for Booker T. Washington. One night after beating 5A No. 9 Tulsa Memorial, on Friday the Hornets took down Tulsa Edison by a tally of 49-41.
It was a close game most of the way at the Expo Square Pavilion, where the Hornets are playing their home games this season.
The Edison Eagles led 20-18 at the half, and were down 35-32 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The fourth quarter belonged to the 5A #1 Hornets, as they outscored the Eagles 14-9 down the stretch.
Booker T. improves to 11-0 on the year, and will next play on January 20th in the Jenks Tournament. Edison returns to action on January 18th at home against Tulsa Memorial.
