OKLAHOMA CITY -- For a half anyway, Star Spencer’s Sharane Campbell flirted with perfection on the court. The Star Spencer Senior connected on her first eight field goal attempts. Campbell helped the Lady Bobcats knock off the Douglass Lady Trojans 61-48 Tuesday.
Campbell, an Oklahoma basketball signee for 2011 scored 22 points in the first half and finished with 37 for the Lady Bobcats.
Douglass rallied in the second quarter.
Markeisha Lyon banked in a three-pointer right before the first half buzzer to cut Star Spencer’s lead to two, 33-31.
Star Spencer opened up the second half with a 14-0 run to help seal the win at Douglass.
Te’era Williams paced the Lady Trojans scoring 28 points.
