Pittsburg, OK -- The Pittsburg athletic department is in need of new equipment and the facilities need repairs. So Pittsburg coach Zach House entered his program into the Pepsi Refresh Everything Grant Competition. It's a $50,000 grant that will go straight to the athletic program.

If Pittsburg wins the grant, this is how the budget would be dispensed:

$ 3,500 Uniforms
$ 18,000 Climbing Rock Wall
$ 3,000 Softball Equipment
$ 3,000 Baseball Equipment
$ 4,000 Basketball Equipment
$ 10,500 Elementary Physical Education Equipment
$ 8,000 Exercise Equipment

"This is my first year at Pittsburg and I want to improve the Physical Education department. The facilities here are very poor with little equipment," House said. "We have been fund raising to receive equipment, but we are short handed. This grant would tremendously improve the lives of the students at this school."
