EDMOND, Oklahoma – The Edmond North girls dominated Westmoore from start to finish on the way to a 65-27 victory Thursday.
The Huskies scored the first 20 points of the game and carried a 36-5 lead into halftime. Westmoore’s offense performed much better in the second half, but the Jaguars never even got close.
Elizabeth Donohoe led all scorers with 16 for Edmond North and she didn’t play for much of the second half. Emily Davis also scored 10.
North will now face defending state champion Del City in the regional finals at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Edmond North, giving the Huskies the home-court advantage.
