OKLAHOMA CITY -- The John Marshall Lady Bears won convincingly over Santa Fe South 59-24 in the district round of the Class 4A playoffs.
The Bears outscored the Lady Saints 21-6 in the second quarter to take a 29-10 lead at halftime.
Santa Fe South didn’t threaten in the second half and John Marshall cruised to victory.
Stephanie Borjas led the Lady Saints in scoring with 13 points, while the Bears’ Breanna Giddens – younger sister of New York Knicks guard J.R. Giddens – led all scorers with 19.
John Marshall will play the winner of Anadarko-Harding Charter Prep, which will be played Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
