JENKS, Oklahoma –A duo of seniors shined for Jenks on Senior Night, leading the Trojans to a 55-44 win over the Union Redskins. John Leonard and CJ Sidorakis’ tag-team effort pushed Jenks to its fifth win in six games.
Union missed multiple shots to open the first half and quickly trailed by eight. Leonard outscored the Redskins on his own in the first frame 9-6.
Jenks took a 28-20 lead into the break, and kicked the offense into top-gear in the third quarter. The Trojans opened the second half on a 10-0 run to put the game out of reach. Sidorakis distributed the ball and hit three pointers to lead the Trojans.
With win, Jenks improved to 4-2 this season at home. Union falls to 2-6 on the road.
Union will host Broken Arrow next Tuesday. The Tigers took down Jenks on the road earlier this week after trailing by 20 points. The Trojans will travel to Muskogee.
