Calvin Barnett Chooses Arkansas Over Oklahoma State

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Booker T. Washington’s Calvin Barnett officially signed with Arkansas Wednesday, changing his previous commitment to Oklahoma State University.

The defensive tackle said his decision was based on his latest visit to Arkansas, taken in late January. He said Arkansas was his favorite throughout the recruiting process, but only later recognized his decision to commit to OSU was the wrong choice for him.

“When I was on my visit, I just really looked and paid attention to everything they had to offer me,” Barnett said. “I just felt like that’s where I would fit in better.”
