Duncan's Dylan Laurens Recruiting Heating Up

Dylan Laurens completes a trio of Duncan juniors that will most likely play Division-I football. Even though Dominique Petties and Dylan Dismuke may have more name recognition, interest in Laurens is starting to heat up.

“[I’m receiving interest from] Mizzou, OU, OSU and Tulsa,” Laurens said. “I’m going to visit OSU [Jan. 30].”

At 6-foot-4, 288 pounds, Laurens said he would like to play guard or center at the collegiate level.

“I like going against the fat guys rather than the speed guys,” Laurens said.

Laurens does not hold any offers and said waiting is the hardest part.

“It’s pretty hard,” Laurens said. “You want everybody to offer you right now, but I know my time will come.”
