NORMAN, Oklahoma – In a battle of two top-10 teams, the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs came away with a 59-48 victory over Norman North Tuesday.
The Bulldogs came into the night ranked No. 8 in Class 6A, with Norman North directly behind at No. 9. Edmond Memorial led for most of the game and never allowed the Timberwolves to claw back.
Norman North’s next action will come Thursday against Shawnee in the first round of the Shawnee Invitational. Edmond Memorial has two more games against top-10 foes – No. 1 Edmond Santa Fe and No. 7 Southmoore – in the next two weeks.
