MUSTANG, Oklahoma -- Earlier in the year, Oklahoma Sports reporter Jessica Coody told the story of Mustang running back Daniel Farrow and the promise he made to his mother before her death.

Three months later, she caught up with Farrow to talk about a promise kept and a dream fulfilled.

Farrow has committed to play football at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas on scholarship. Farrow is known for his outstanding play as a running back for Mustang, but he will play on the defensive side of the ball for the Blue Dragons.

In his senior season playing for the Mustangs, Farrow rushed for 1,214 yards and 18 touchdowns on 171 carries for an average of 7.09 yards per carry, along with 25 receptions for 216 yards.

Farrow has graduated early from Mustang and has enrolled early at Hutchinson.
