TULSA, Oklahoma -- Claremore jumped out to a 14-0 lead and held off Bishop Kelley, 77-65 on Tuesday night.
Dakota Beller finished with a game-high 24 points for the Zebras. Jack Cameron led the way in the scoring column for the Comets with 17.
After Claremore jumped out to a 14-0 lead, Jack Cameron put Bishop Kelley on the board for the first time with a layup at the 3:15 mark of the first period.
The Comets cut the Zebra lead to eight at the end of the first quarter and trailed 39-33 at the half. Claremore held on down the stretch, though.
Bishop Kelley returns to the court on Jan. 5th for the first round of the Skiatook Festival. The Zebras host Pryor on Jan. 8th.
