Beggs Demons Hold off Hartshorne Miners

The Demons hosted the Miners in on of the biggest games of the week in Class 2A.

BEGGS, Oklahoma - - The game between the Hartshorne Miners and the Beggs Demons was billed as one of the top three matchups in Class 2A for round one, and it lived up to the hype.

It was tied 14-14 late in the third quarter, but as the quarter closed, the Demons scored a touchdown that would end up being the deciding score, and went on to win 21-16.

Beggs will face the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs in the second round, Friday Nov. 20.
